At Easy Road Transport, we are looking for a Transport Planner who shares our ambition to become the best UK carrier in the Netherlands. We offer you a challenging position with significant responsibility in an informal, energetic, and pleasant working environment.
As a Transport Planner, you are the heart of our operation. You ensure that all our transports to and from the UK run smoothly, and that everything proceeds according to schedule without any hitches. You have daily contact with drivers, shipping lines, customs brokers, customers, and your colleagues. Your task is to plan the routes as efficiently as possible, ensure the correct documentation is in place, and solve problems as they arise. In short, you are the pivot that keeps everything moving.
In addition, you will work with your colleagues on the growth and optimization of our processes and contribute to the conviviality and atmosphere in the office. You are not only responsible for the work, but also for the atmosphere within our company. We want to be the best company to work for in the Netherlands, and for that, we are looking for people who enjoy a good team dynamic alongside hard work!
What we expect from you:
- An MBO or HBO degree, preferably in the field of Logistics, Transport, or Business Administration.
- Some experience in a planning or logistics role (preferably in the transport sector, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are more important!).
- Resilience to stress; you can switch gears quickly and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- A hands-on mentality; you take responsibility and contribute ideas for improvements.
- Strong teamwork skills and a contribution to a positive, energetic working atmosphere.
- Affinity with the English market, or a willingness to further immerse yourself in it.
- A dynamic and varied role within a young and ambitious company that is growing rapidly.
