At Easy Road Transport, we are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Transport Planner who shares our ambition to become the best UK carrier in the Netherlands. We offer you a challenging job with many growth opportunities in an informal, energetic, and pleasant working environment.
As a Junior Transport Planner, you are the future heart of our operation. You will learn all the tricks of the trade at your own pace so that you can manage the full planning in the future. You will support the planning department with all daily tasks and learn to execute all processes independently through on-the-job training. You will eventually progress to a position as a Transport Planner.
As a Transport Planner, you ensure that all our shipments to and from the UK run smoothly, and that everything proceeds according to schedule and without hitches. You have daily contact with drivers, shipping companies, customs brokers, customers, and your colleagues. Your task is to plan the routes as efficiently as possible, ensure the correct documentation, and solve problems as they arise. In short, you are the linchpin that keeps everything running.
In addition, you will work with your colleagues on the growth and optimization of our processes and contribute to the conviviality and atmosphere in the office. You are not only responsible for the work, but also for the atmosphere within our company.
