As a Freight Forwarder, you are responsible for the logistics services of groupage and full loads. You ensure that planning runs smoothly and without interruptions. You have daily contact with drivers, shipping lines, customs brokers, customers, and your colleagues. Additionally, you work with your colleagues on the growth and optimization of our processes and contribute to the pleasant atmosphere in the office.
You are not only responsible for the work, but also for the atmosphere within our company. We aim to be the best company in the Netherlands to work for, and for that, we are looking for people who enjoy a great team dynamic alongside hard work!
What we expect from you:
- A higher professional education (HBO) level of thinking and working, preferably in the field of Logistics, Transport, or Business Administration.
- At least 3 years of experience in a planning or logistics role (preferably in the transport sector, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are more important!).
- Resilience to stress; you can switch gears quickly and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- A hands-on mentality; you take responsibility and contribute ideas for improvements.
- Strong teamwork skills and a contribution to a positive, energetic working atmosphere.
- Affinity with the English market, or a willingness to further immerse yourself in it.
