Which ADR goods do we transport?

ADR goods are divided into nine classes based on the type of hazard they present. Easy Road Transport provides transport for the most common classes, including:

Class 2 – Gases such as propane, oxygen, or aerosols

Class 3 – Flammable liquids such as paint products, solvents, and fuels

Class 4 – Flammable solids, including self-igniting substances and substances that react with water

Class 5 – Oxidizing substances and organic peroxides

Class 6 – Toxic substances and bio-products

Class 8 – Corrosive substances such as acids and alkalis

Class 9 – Miscellaneous dangerous goods not covered by other classes, such as lithium batteries

Would you like to know if your product can be transported and which class it falls under? Please contact our EASY Roaders. They will be happy to assist you.

How does Easy Road arrange your ADR shipment?

We take care of the entire process. This is how it works in practice:

Request and classification: You indicate which goods you want to have transported. Our planners check the ADR class and the associated requirements, so there are no surprises along the way.

Planning and documentation: We assign the right certified driver to your shipment and prepare all necessary documents. This includes the waybill with the correct UN number, the official shipping name, the packing group, and the tunnel code. We do not prepare the DGN; you provide this, and we will check it.

Transport and guidance: During the journey, you will have personal contact with your planner. This way, you always know where your cargo is and its current status.

Delivery at destination: Your goods are delivered safely and on time, in accordance with all applicable regulations.

Cross-border ADR transport

Are you transporting dangerous goods abroad? In addition to ADR regulations, customs formalities also come into play. Especially for transport to the United Kingdom, additional requirements for documentation and checks apply.

Our specialists will arrange the necessary paperwork for you, ensuring your shipment crosses the border without delay. View our Customs Formalities page for more information on how we can assist you.

ADR as FTL or groupage?

Depending on the volume of your cargo, we plan your ADR goods as a full truckload or as a partial load together with other shipments. In doing so, we take into account the compatibility requirements of ADR regulations: not all dangerous goods may be combined in a single trailer.

Do you have a large shipment that fills an entire trailer? Then FTL transport is the most efficient choice. For smaller quantities, we will look at the possibilities within groupage and LTL transport together.

ADR transport FAQs

What do I need to transport ADR goods?

As a shipper, you ensure correct packaging with the appropriate ADR labels, prepare a DGN, and provide all necessary information for the waybill, such as the UN number and the packing group. We arrange the rest: the right driver, the vehicle, and the documentation.

Can I also have ADR goods transported as groupage?

That depends on the class and the quantity. Some ADR classes may not be combined with other dangerous goods. Our planners review what is possible for each request.

Does Easy Road Transport transport all ADR classes?

We transport the most common ADR classes. For classes that require specialized vehicles or permits, such as Class 1 (explosives) or Class 7 (radioactive substances), we will contact you per request to discuss the possibilities.

How long does an ADR shipment abroad take?

That depends on the destination. For destinations within our direct service area in Europe, we maintain a transit time of two to three days. Contact us for a specific indication for your route.

Do you also handle customs clearance for ADR transport?

Yes. For cross-border transport, we arrange the customs documentation for you. Read more on our page about customs formalities.
